Translator's Home Companion
The Translator's Home Companion serves as a focal point of information about resources available on the Internet and elsewhere for translators, interpreters, and all those interested in the arts and crafts of foreign languages. Site includes a list of educational resources, translation engines, agencies and a searchable translator database.
The New England Translator Association (NETA)
NETA is a professional organization of translators and interpreters with more than 150 members. NETA has members who translate in all of the major European languages and in many of the Asian languages. NETA website provides advice on how to choose a translator and listings of NETA members and their languages. It also provides a list of the Massachusetts Translator and Training Programs.
Catholic Charities Community Interpreter Services (CIS)
CIS is the only nonprofit interpreting translation service organization in Massachusetts. Works with Mass Commission for the Blind, Department of Public Health, Mental Health and Developmental Services, Multiple Elder Service Agencies, Division of Medical Assistance and DCF. Community Interpreter Services specialty is official legal documents (birth certificates, school records, etc.). Translated documents are accompanied by a notarized certificate attesting to the accuracy of the translation. Interpreters can also translate consent forms, brochures, employee handbooks, education plans, and other documents that serve the needs of the non-English speaking community.

Cross Cultural Communications Systems, Inc. (CCCS)
CCCS provides translation and interpreting services in more than 40 languages. LHI is New England's premier community-based public health organization, serving annually over 25,000 Latin American families and individuals through more than 24 direct care programs. Language Link Translation Services of Central MA AHEC (Area Health Education Center)
Language Link Multilingual Translation Services is a division of the Central Massachusetts Area Health Education Center (CM AHEC). Each translation involves a multi-tiered review process involving the participation of translators, editors, proofreaders and quality control specialists.
Translation Services include health promotion materials, behavioral health documents, training tools and manuals, government publications, business correspondence, legal documents and birth & marriage certificates.
