Organization: Cerebral Palsy of Massachusetts provides services to people with disabilities of all ages, all focused on helping people achieve and maintain their independence in their communities. CPMA is a private, nonprofit agency in operation for over 40 years. It serves people with a variety of disabilities throughout Eastern Massachusetts.

Services:

  • Personal Care Attendant Services : people who need help with basic activities of daily living. (Taunton Office)
  • Options Supported Living Program: Assistance with managing PCA services, finances, medical services etc..
  • Fiscal Intermediary Program:  Payroll processing and tax reporting and filing for participants in MassHealth's PCA program.
  • Adult Foster Care:  family living in the community with primary care provided by a caregiver.  Consumer and caregiver live together and receive nursing and social work support monthly in the home.

To be eligible for supportive living, you must need a surrogate to help with pca program & be at risk for nursing home placement.   Adult Foster Care services are for consumers who needs cueing & or supervision, or hands on care with daily lifeskills.   Consumer can only be alone for up to 3 hours/day.  Alternative care is also available with daily life skills.  Consumers can only be alone for up to 3 hours/day.   Alternate care is also available.

Eligibility/Criteria/Enrollment: To receive PCA services, one needs personal care assistance with two or more activities of daily living; needs to be eligible for MassHealth; and must live in the community.
