The Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA) protects and promotes the rights and opportunities of immigrants and refugees across the Commonwealth. MIRA advances this mission through education and training, leadership development, organizing, policy analysis and advocacy.
This website is managed by Community Resources, Inc. (a non-profit organization) and is intended to
provide detail information on the various types of assistance in Massachusetts.
If you are a non citizen in need of help, there are many resources in
Massachusetts to assist you. There are immigrant service agencies that
offer refugee resettlement, English classes, legal help, and other services
for non citizens. There are also government and non-profit assistance
programs to help you with housing, food, health care, and other needs.
The Massachusetts Refugee Resettlement Program helps newly arrived refugees
find jobs, learn English, and adjust to their new lives in the U.S.
